INDIANAPOLIS (June 20, 2013) — Klipsch, a leading global speaker manufacturer, announces a strategic partnership with Indianapolis radio station WTTS (92.3 FM) to become a name-in-title sponsor of Sun King Studio 92, powered by Klipsch Audio. Located in the brand’s headquarter city, the live performances and studio venue will provide Klipsch unique access to local and fellow live music enthusiasts.

At the studio, members of the WTTS listener database (92-3 VIPs) enjoy intimate, acoustic tapings with a variety of both established and emerging artists (many of whom are in Indianapolis for scheduled shows at area venues.) Since its inception in 2005, the studio has hosted hundreds of artists including the Lumineers, Imagine Dragons, Snow Patrol, The Doobie Brothers, Train and Ed Sheeran, to name a few.

As a partner, Klipsch will be uniquely integrated with the station’s broadcasters, listeners and VIPs. Klipsch will be included in all promotion surrounding Sun King Studio 92, as well as performance broadcasts. Audio and video content from Sun Kin Studio 92 sessions will be available at Klipsch.com/studio92 for fan access. Throughout the year, Klipsch will supply products for giveaway in the VIP Room at WTTSfm.co. Adding to the brand’s visibility, Klipsch speakers and branded signage will outfit Sun King Studio 92, powered Klipsch Audio.

“Klipsch Audio, renowned for world-class sound and unparalleled quality, is an incredible fit for the world-class sounds that come from Sun King Studio 92, now powered by Klipsch Audio. We couldn’t be more excited about this one-of-a-kind local partnership,” said Brad Holtz, program director of WTTS.

“We are honored to continue our efforts in supporting live music—especially here in Indianapolis,” said Paul Jacobs, CEO of Klipsch. “Because it is our hometown, we look forward to collaborating with a local business that shares the same synergies and passion on which the Klipsch brand was founded.”

As a partner to Live Nation Entertainment, Klipsch is no stranger to supporting live music. Today, Klipsch is involved in the sponsorship of Indianapolis’ Klipsch Music Center, New York City’s Irving Plaza Powered by Klipsch and the Klipsch Amphitheatre at Bayfront Park in Miami. The commitment extends globally with the brand’s sponsorship of Jazz FM, a UK-based radio station that broadcasts the best in jazz, blues and soul to the world.
