INDIANAPOLIS (Jan. 23, 2012) — Klipsch, a leading global speaker manufacturer, today announces a special month-long product giveaway that will be executed with the help of Indianapolis’ IndyGo transit system. Beginning today and ending February 17, two specially-wrapped IndyGo buses will aid the brand in the giveaway of 17 Klipsch Gallery™ G-17 Air wireless music systems.

As individuals spot the promotional vehicles throughout the city, those 18 years of age and older are encouraged to take a picture of the branded bus and post it on Klipsch’s Facebook wall at www.facebook.com/KlipschSpeakers. Once a unique photo is posted, individuals are eligible to win one of the coveted G-17 Air systems. Drawings will take place on each Friday of the contest and winners will be announced online on Klipsch’s Facebook page and notified personally via email.

Recently launched and retailing for $549.99, the Klipsch Gallery G-17 Air wireless music system serves as the brand’s first-ever AirPlay-enabled audio solution. With the ability to utilize any wireless network, the G-17 Air streams high-quality audio directly from any iPod, iPhone or iPad capable of running iOS 4.2– all without wires and the need to dock the relevant device. Measuring 17 inches in length and engineered for the ultimate sound experience, the G-17 Air captures the same distinct power, detail and emotion of Klipsch’s renowned horn-loaded speakers. With a sleek, piano-black and high-gloss luster, the G-17 Air emulates a fine musical instrument.

“We are extremely proud of this product and want to share it with our city,” said Paul Jacobs, CEO of Klipsch. “As we head into Indianapolis’ first-ever Super Bowl, we look forward to providing both local residents and visitors the opportunity to win a top-of-the-line audio product that embodies the essence of our brand and improves the listening experience for our fans.”
