The VC-25 employs two 5.25-inch fiber-composite woofer cones that are lightweight yet powerful. Not only do these reliable low-frequency components create improved tonal balance and imaging they also generate amazing dynamics and deep bass.
Even more remarkable is the VC-25’s all-new patent-pending Tractrix® Horn-loaded tweeter with XT technology. For over 60 years horns have been the driving force behind our speakers. XT—or X-Tractrix—engineering takes this time-proven philosophy to new levels by altering the surface geometry of the tweeter which equalizes the speed of sound waves from the horn and smooths the dispersion pattern. This design moves us even farther ahead resulting in extremely smooth response and constant directivity.
