The R-5502-W in-wall speaker has what it takes to deliver compelling music and movie sound performances just as the artists and directors intended—it simply does it without taking up any valuable floor or shelf space.

The R-5502-W employs dual 5.25-inch Cerametallic woofer cones for fast, accurate sound with dynamic detail, while a titanium tweeter mated to a pivoting Tractrix® Horn generates flat in-room frequency response with high efficiency and low distortion. The speaker’s precision-voiced crossover networks further ensure that the high and low frequencies are faithfully reproduced.

This in-wall speaker also consistently delivers thrilling, realistic sound, whether it’s installed horizontally or vertically. It features all-new sure-grip mounting dogs that provide even pressure against drywall for long-term installation reliability, and includes a paintable grille that blends in perfectly with any décor.

Bass and treble switches with custom EQ settings allow the speaker to be tailored to its environment, while IR receiver knockout holes allow for infrared repeaters, bringing custom configuration to installers.

De Klipsch Reference Serie RVX-42, plat en in een soortgelijke stijl als de populaire plasma- en LCD-tv's, is een high-performance audio-oplossing die dit groeiende segment van de consumentenelektronica aanvult.

Dit wandgemonteerde model heeft een geëxtrudeerd aluminium kast uit één deel. Hij heeft twee 4 inch aluminium woofers en een 1 inch compressiedriver met titanium dome gecombineerd met een ronde Tractrix® hoorn voor maximale helderheid en efficiëntie.

De RVX-42 past goed bij 42 inch of grotere plasma- en LCD-schermen. Hij heeft ook sleutelgaten voor montage (op maat voor een enkelvoudige contactdoos), twee 3/8"-16 inzetstukken met schroefdraad voor optionele wandmontage en een voetstuk. Er is op twee plaatsen een inzetstuk op de RVX-42 waar het voetstuk kan worden aangebracht: één in het midden en één aan de onderkant zodat de luidspreker kan dienen als een middenkanaal of boekenkastluidspreker. Een ander belangrijk kenmerk is een bascompensatieschakelaar voor de best mogelijke geluidsprestaties, aan de muur of van de muur af.

De RVX-42, verkrijgbaar in dezelfde zwarte of zilverkleurige finish als de Klipsch Reference Satellites, wordt afzonderlijk verpakt en verkocht, en kan met deze compacte luidsprekers gecombineerd worden om complete systemen te vormen. U kunt bijvoorbeeld een 5,1-kanaals surround-soundsysteem maken met drie RVX-42's (twee hoofdkanalen en één middenkanaal), een paar Reference Satellite RSX-4's als surrounds en een Reference Serie RW-10d subwoofer.
