KHC-6

With its best-of-class design and high-performance components, the Synergy Series KHC-6 in-ceiling loudspeaker proves that architectural sound doesn't have to mean compromised sound.

Constructed on a rigid, low-resonance cast-polymer frame, the two-way KHC-6 delivers notably robust bass from its 6.5-inch IMG-cone woofer. Its coaxially mounted 1-inch aluminum-dome compression driver tweeter is mated to a 100º Klipsch Tractrix® Horn that can be swiveled to focus the sound where needed. A tweeter attenuation switch conveniently placed behind the grille provides another tool for tailoring the speaker's output to the acoustics of the environment.

And while the KHC looks very different, its drivers sonically match the freestanding models in the Synergy Series line, producing the same wide dynamic, low distortion performances.

The KHC's white frame and rustproof, powder-coated aluminum grille can be painted to match the ceiling. Mid-sized among the in-ceiling models, the versatile, easy-to-install KHC-6 is an excellent choice for distributed-music systems and other applications requiring unobtrusive, high-quality loudspeakers.

Great sound, easy installation and outstanding reliability make the KHC-6 one of the best values in architectural audio.

With integrated whole-house audio systems becoming more popular than ever, Klipsch designed the CDT-2650-C to meet the market's demand for a high-performance in-ceiling loudspeaker that easily challenges the inherent limitations of fixed locations.

Thanks to a new patent-pending gimbal mechanism, known as Controlled Dispersion Technology™ (CDT), both the high and low frequencies of the CDT-2650-C can be directed towards the listening area. Because the tweeter is independently adjustable from the woofer, this speaker offers even more precise localization.

The CDT-2650-C features a 1-inch silk tweeter mated to a swiveling 100-degree Tractrix® Horn. This swiveling horn design dramatically increases efficiency by enabling the speaker to produce more output using less energy. Additionally, a horn-loaded tweeter works well in instances where you want to point the sound to a specific location because it has more controlled directivity than a conventional dome tweeter.

The speaker's 6.5-inch polymer woofer also has great positioning capabilities. It can rotate a full 360 degrees and then shift 15 degrees in any direction. This flexibility combined with the swiveling tweeter puts you in complete control of where the sound will go.

With integrated whole-house audio systems becoming more popular than ever, Klipsch designed the CDT-2650-SC in-ceiling surround speaker to meet the market's demand for an enveloping audio solution that easily challenges the inherent limitations of fixed locations.

Thanks to a new patent-pending gimbal mechanism, known as Controlled Dispersion Technology™ (CDT), both the high and low frequencies of the CDT-2650-SC can be directed towards the listening area.

In order to deliver both rich, immersion surround sound and precise localization of individual effects, the CDT-2650-SC features Klipsch's Wide Dispersion Surround Technology™ (WDST). Careful alignment of two silk tweeters, angled opposite one another, yields an exceptionally wide dispersion pattern, delivering a smooth, broad distribution of sound ideal for every surround-sound format and for music as well as movies.

Thanks to a new patent-pending gimbal mechanism, known as Controlled Dispersion Technology™ (CDT), both the high and low frequencies of the CDT-5800-C can be directed towards the listening area. Because the tweeter is independently adjustable from the woofer, this speaker offers even more precise localization.

The CDT-5800-C features a 1-inch titanium tweeter mated to a swiveling 100-degree Tractrix® Horn. This swiveling horn design dramatically increases efficiency by enabling the speaker to produce more output using less energy. Additionally, a horn-loaded tweeter works well in instances where you want to point the sound to a specific location because it has more controlled directivity than a conventional dome tweeter.

The speaker's 8-inch Cerametallic™ woofer also has great positioning capabilities. It can rotate a full 360 degrees and then shift 15 degrees in any direction. This flexibility combined with the swiveling tweeter puts you in complete control of where the sound will go.

Other professional grade features, such as a premium network and treble and bass contour switches, help the CDT-5800-C establish a new benchmark in architectural audio excellence.

Available in a white finish, the paintable CDT-5800-C can be paired with a Klipsch IK-800-C installation kit (sold separately). This revolutionary kit design incorporates a mud ring, breakaway wire tie and color-coded brackets for easy speaker size identification. It also includes perforated metal wings that easily fasten to the studs via screws, staples or nails. Painted white for easy marking and placement, these metal wings can be folded around the edge of the studs if necessary.

Engineered to bring real cinema sound to the comforts of home without taking up valuable floor space, the KL-7800-THX offers the ultimate performance in a hidden solution loudspeaker. It is designed for left, center or right channel use or wherever a monopole speaker is needed.

Because of its THX® Ultra2 certification, the KL-7800-THX works well with multi-channel movie and music presentations playing up to reference levels in rooms of 3,000 cubic feet or larger.

The KL-7800-THX is also capable of delivering the same high-output, low distortion signature sound as its traditional enclosure counterpart, the KL-525-THX. It employs an 8-inch aluminum woofer and a 1-inch titanium dome compression driver mated to a Tractrix® Horn. This advanced horn design dramatically increases efficiency and allows the speaker to produce more output using less energy.

Featuring an integrated back box enclosure, the KL-7800-THX's response is both predictable and repeatable. Because this enclosure fits easily within the loudspeaker's footprint, the KL-7800-THX can be installed into new or existing construction.

Combine this dynamic loudspeaker with Klipsch's KS-7800-THX in-wall surround, KW-120-THX subwoofer and KA-1000-THX subwoofer amplifier to create a variety of THX Ultra2 in-wall system configurations.

Engineered to bring a new dimension of reality and convenience to a flush-mount design, the Klipsch R-5650-S in-wall surround sound speaker features a unique patented horn array that allows system designers to create enveloping sound fields and localized effects without disrupting a home's décor. In fact, Electronic House Expo (EHX) voted it 2005's best in-wall speaker on the market for less than $1,000 a pair.

Designed specifically for surround use in home theater applications, the R-5650-S employs a 6.5-inch Cerametallic™ woofer and dual 1-inch titanium compression drivers. Because of its patented horn array, which is two vertically stacked Tractrix® Horn-loaded tweeters pointing in opposite directions, the R-5650-S outperforms conventional designs by maximizing diffusion, clarity and efficiency, while minimizing room interactions that blur sonic detail.

The R-5650-S draws listeners into the middle of the action through the use of Klipsch's proprietary Wide Dispersion Surround Technology or WDST™. The careful alignment of the two controlled-directivity Tractrix Horn tweeters, angled opposite of one another, yields an incredibly wide dispersion pattern.

A 1-inch polymer-dome tweeter distributes smooth, clear highs over a wide area.

The speaker’s mounting system makes installation a breeze, while its paintable aluminum grille provides added rust protection in moisture-prone areas such as bathrooms, kitchens and saunas.

While the R-1650-W will fit into our latest IK-650-W installation kit, it can also be used in conjunction with the ME-650-W fire-rated enclosure.
