THX®-Certified, this two-way cinema surround loudspeaker system offers high efficiency, controlled coverage, and standard SMPTE/ISO 2696 X-curve de-emphasis. It features a single high-output, eight-inch woofer and a high-frequency compression driver coupled to a 100° x 100° Tractrix® horn. The shallow enclosure angles the drivers downward at a 15° angle and is pre-drilled for industry-standard mounting brackets. The system also incorporates a high-frequency protection circuit to safeguard the tweeter.

Elle renferme un transformateur à prises intermédiaires offrant une gamme étendue et une dérivation directe commutable 8 ohms. Les réglages de prise de l’enceinte CA-650T sous 70 V sont 60 W, 30 W, 15 W, 7,5 W et 3,7 W. Le réglage 3,7 W permet une plus grande souplesse de placement. Les réglages sous 100 V sont 60 W, 30 W, 15 W et 7,5 W.

Le support de zinc robuste en C assure un montage rigide. Il est fixé à l’aide de goujons filetés, placés à l’intérieur de l’enceinte sur un axe passant par le centre de gravité afin d’assurer l’équilibrage, et de boutons de grande dimension permettant un verrouillage efficace. Les raccordements se font sur des barrettes à quatre bornes, permettant d’utiliser deux connecteurs pour les entrées et deux pour la traversée, ce qui facilite le raccordement en guirlande.
