KL-650-THX

As a leading supplier of high-performance cinema speaker systems, Klipsch knows how to make the most out of film soundtracks and surround effects. The Klipsch KL-650-THX LCR loudspeaker brings that knowledge to the comforts of home. As part of the THX® Ultra2 family, this LCR reveals all the raw power and fine detail that the filmmakers originally intended.

As the larger of the two LCR speakers in the Ultra2 family, the KL-650-THX features a front-firing port for low bass extension, dual 6.5-inch Cerametallic™ woofers and a new 6- by 10-inch Tractrix® Horn Tweeter. The tweeter driver is a 1-inch titanium-dome compression unit designed specifically for use with horns to provide high output with low distortion. The clarity and distinction of this LCR can also be attributed to its top-of-the-line internal wiring.

The KL-650-THX enclosure has the same dado and rabbet construction used in Klipsch professional speakers ensuring cabinet integrity in suspended applications. The Omni-Mount suspension points on this loudspeaker facilitate wall or ceiling mounting using standard hardware.

Available in a custom Galaxy black finish with an aluminum fascia, the KL-650-THX delivers the ultimate in power, detail and emotional impact from durable, easy-to-install cabinets.

Synergy SLX

With flat-panel televisions being the hottest new video products around, Klipsch designed its Synergy Series SLX speaker to be an affordable, high-performance audio solution to complement this growing consumer electronics segment.

Despite its minimalist sensibility, the SLX delivers the same powerful and detailed sound that has made Klipsch speakers bestsellers. It employs dual 4.5-inch, magnetically shielded IMG (injection molded graphite) woofers and a 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter coupled to an exclusive round Tractrix® Horn for a dynamic, three-dimensional soundstage. Powerful magnet structures provide high efficiency and low distortion. It also features two custom-engineered, sculpted ports on the front baffle for intense low-frequency extension.

In the drive for simplicity, the SLX can be positioned horizontally or vertically and serve as a main, surround or center channel speaker. Furthermore, it can be hung on a wall or mounted to a stand. A Positive Lock Attachment™ on the back of the speaker ensures simple and reliable wall mounting to the included wall bracket without requiring additional hardware. While on the wall bracket, magnetic positioning allows for precise rotation within a 30-degree range, meaning the user can widen or constrict the soundstage based on audience size. Mounting to a stand is made possible via two ¼"-20 threaded inserts located on the rear of the enclosure.

Available in a silver/titanium finish, the smooth and sculpted shape of this dramatic speaker nicely matches today's striking flat-panel displays. With its gray magnetically-attached grille in place, the SLX offers a sense of elegance that flatters a variety of home décors, but take the grille off and you get an aggressive and powerful statement that exudes extreme performance. The SLX is also packaged and sold individually so that users can easily create two-channel or multi-channel configurations.

A first of its kind in the Klipsch Synergy Series lineup, the SLX not only serves up affordable, high-end sound but also shows why Klipsch is America's number one speaker brand.

XL-23

Exemplifying visual and performance splendor, the versatile Icon X Series XL-23 LCR speaker brings new meaning to home audio entertainment. Its stylish, curvilinear cabinet and smooth, full-bodied sound moves beyond the limitations of traditional flat-panel designs.

Engineered for pure, dynamic listening, the XL-23 utilizes a premium titanium diaphragm compression driver and dual high-output fiberglass cone woofers.

But what puts this flat-panel speaker above the rest is an all-new patent-pending Tractrix® Horn-loaded tweeter with XT technology. For over 60 years, horns have been the driving force behind our stunningly precise sound, and this latest design moves us farther ahead by allowing the slender XL-23 to deliver an extremely smooth response with constant directivity.

Offering more than just a signature sound, the XL-23 also has a signature style. Its beautifully crafted aluminum extruded enclosure, featuring an anodized black-grain finish and high-gloss black accents, is the direct result of our engineers’ quest for perfect balance. In fact, it’s a look that brings a splash of sophistication to any room.

For increased placement flexibility, the XL-23 can be paired with the company’s optional XFS floor stand.

The entire Icon X Series is performance art at its best, capturing the spirit of our past and pushing us into the future. It is a brilliant representation of how our products have evolved and remained desirable over time. After just one listen, the Icon sound will be imprinted in your consciousness forever.

RVX-42

Despite its slim appearance, the RVX-42 delivers an adrenaline rush of sound that's set to stun. In fact, it received a 2004 Distributed Audio Award from Electronic House Expo for being the best on-wall speaker for less than $1,000 per pair.

With similar flatness and styling to popular plasma and LCD televisions, the Klipsch Reference Series RVX-42 is a high-performance audio solution that complements this growing consumer electronics segment.

This on-wall model has a single-piece aluminum extrusion enclosure. It employs dual 4-inch Cerametallic™ woofers and uses a 1-inch titanium-dome compression driver mated to a round Tractrix® Horn for maximum clarity and efficiency.

The RVX-42 goes well with 42-inch or larger plasma and LCD screens. It also features keyhole mounts (sized for a single-gang electrical box), two 3/8"-16 threaded inserts for optional wall mounts and a pedestal base. There are two insert locations on the RVX-42 where the pedestal can be positioned - one in the center and one on the bottom so the loudspeaker can either serve as a center channel or bookshelf. Another key feature is a bass compensation switch for the best possible sonic performance either on-wall or off-wall.

Available in the same black finish as the Klipsch Reference Satellites, the RVX-42, which is packaged and sold individually, can be combined with these compact speakers to create complete systems. For example, you can create a 5.1-channel surround sound system using three RVX-42s (two main channels and one center channel), a pair of Reference Satellite RSX-4s for surrounds and a Reference Series RW-10 subwoofer.
