The Klipsch IK-650-C2 installation kit offers increased mounting flexibility for our square R-2650-C2 and R-5650-C2 in-ceiling speakers.

This revolutionary kit design incorporates a mud ring, breakaway wire tie and color-coded brackets for easy speaker size identification. A flat side with a raised wall allows it to be mounted directly to a joist, making it much easier to align the speakers with other items in the ceiling.

The kit also comes with perforated metal wings that easily fasten to the studs via screws, staples or nails. Ribbed for increased rigidity, these wings enable a kit to span up to 24 inches easily. Painted white for easy marking and placement, these metal wings will fold around the edge of the studs if necessary.

KHC-6

With its best-of-class design and high-performance components, the Synergy Series KHC-6 in-ceiling loudspeaker proves that architectural sound doesn't have to mean compromised sound.

Constructed on a rigid, low-resonance cast-polymer frame, the two-way KHC-6 delivers notably robust bass from its 6.5-inch IMG-cone woofer. Its coaxially mounted 1-inch aluminum-dome compression driver tweeter is mated to a 100º Klipsch Tractrix® Horn that can be swiveled to focus the sound where needed. A tweeter attenuation switch conveniently placed behind the grille provides another tool for tailoring the speaker's output to the acoustics of the environment.

And while the KHC looks very different, its drivers sonically match the freestanding models in the Synergy Series line, producing the same wide dynamic, low distortion performances.

The KHC's white frame and rustproof, powder-coated aluminum grille can be painted to match the ceiling. Mid-sized among the in-ceiling models, the versatile, easy-to-install KHC-6 is an excellent choice for distributed-music systems and other applications requiring unobtrusive, high-quality loudspeakers.

Great sound, easy installation and outstanding reliability make the KHC-6 one of the best values in architectural audio.

With integrated whole-house audio systems becoming more popular than ever, Klipsch designed the CDT-2650-C to meet the market's demand for a high-performance in-ceiling loudspeaker that easily challenges the inherent limitations of fixed locations.

Thanks to a new patent-pending gimbal mechanism, known as Controlled Dispersion Technology™ (CDT), both the high and low frequencies of the CDT-2650-C can be directed towards the listening area. Because the tweeter is independently adjustable from the woofer, this speaker offers even more precise localization.

The CDT-2650-C features a 1-inch silk tweeter mated to a swiveling 100-degree Tractrix® Horn. This swiveling horn design dramatically increases efficiency by enabling the speaker to produce more output using less energy. Additionally, a horn-loaded tweeter works well in instances where you want to point the sound to a specific location because it has more controlled directivity than a conventional dome tweeter.

The speaker's 6.5-inch polymer woofer also has great positioning capabilities. It can rotate a full 360 degrees and then shift 15 degrees in any direction. This flexibility combined with the swiveling tweeter puts you in complete control of where the sound will go.

With integrated whole-house audio systems becoming more popular than ever, Klipsch designed the CDT-2650-SC in-ceiling surround speaker to meet the market's demand for an enveloping audio solution that easily challenges the inherent limitations of fixed locations.

Thanks to a new patent-pending gimbal mechanism, known as Controlled Dispersion Technology™ (CDT), both the high and low frequencies of the CDT-2650-SC can be directed towards the listening area.

In order to deliver both rich, immersion surround sound and precise localization of individual effects, the CDT-2650-SC features Klipsch's Wide Dispersion Surround Technology™ (WDST). Careful alignment of two silk tweeters, angled opposite one another, yields an exceptionally wide dispersion pattern, delivering a smooth, broad distribution of sound ideal for every surround-sound format and for music as well as movies.

CDT-5650-C

With integrated whole-house audio systems becoming more popular than ever, Klipsch designed the CDT-5650-C to meet the market's demand for a high-performance in-ceiling loudspeaker that easily challenges the inherent limitations of fixed locations.

Thanks to a new patent-pending gimbal mechanism, known as Controlled Dispersion Technology™ (CDT), both the high and low frequencies of the CDT-5650-C can be directed towards the listening area. Because the tweeter is independently adjustable from the woofer, this speaker offers even more precise localization.

The CDT-5650-C features a 1-inch titanium tweeter mated to a swiveling 100-degree Tractrix® Horn. This swiveling horn design dramatically increases efficiency by enabling the speaker to produce more output using less energy. Additionally, a horn-loaded tweeter works well in instances where you want to point the sound to a specific location because it has more controlled directivity than a conventional dome tweeter.

The speaker's 6.5-inch Cerametallic™ woofer also has great positioning capabilities. It can rotate a full 360 degrees and then shift 15 degrees in any direction. This flexibility combined with the swiveling tweeter puts you in complete control of where the sound will go.

Other professional grade features, such as a premium network and treble and bass contour switches, give the CDT-5650-C an edge that will exceed your expectations.

Available in a white finish, the paintable CDT-5650-C can be paired with the Klipsch IK-650-C installation kit (sold separately). This revolutionary kit design incorporates a mud ring, breakaway wire tie and color-coded brackets for easy speaker size identification. It also includes perforated metal wings that easily fasten to the studs via screws, staples or nails. Painted white for easy marking and placement, these metal wings can be folded around the edge of the studs if necessary.

Adding to Klipsch's extensive lineup of architectural products, the contemporary-designed R-5650-C2 square in-ceiling speaker gives installers yet another high-performance, flush-mount option to choose from. Perfect for home theater or stereo music applications, this discrete audio solution delivers superior depth and clarity.

Offering the same technology and performance as the company's round in-ceiling speakers, the two-way R-5650-C2 features a light-weight, well-damped 6.5-inch Cerametallic™ woofer cone, 1-inch titanium tweeter mated to a swiveling 100-degree Tractrix® Horn as well as treble and bass contour switches for smooth and refined sound.

Because the swiveling horn allows installers to point the sound where they want it to go, the direct to reflected energy ratio is high in the listening area, creating a large soundstage with well-defined imaging.

Available in a white finish, the R-5650-C2 is paintable and can be paired with the Klipsch IK-650-C2 installation kit (sold separately).
