A. You can use the DD 5.1 in ProLogic Enable mode for any 2-channel source, which will mix that signal into 5 channels.

A. For the 4.1, you'll simply disable the center channel. For the 2.1, disable the center and surrounds. You will not hook anything up to the center/sub or surround outputs.

A. You'll need to purchase an optical or coax cable, depending on the device.

A. You'll need to purchase a cable to run from the coax input of the DD 5.1 to the soundcard's digital output. Most soundcards have an 1/8” miniplug digital out, so you will need to have to appropriate adapter.
