KS-7502-THX

So stunningly detailed and immersive, the KS-7502-THX in-ceiling surround speaker brings a whole new dimension of reality to home theater. Perhaps that’s why it’s the first of its kind to receive the highly respected Ultra2 certification from THX.

Our top-of-the-line in-ceiling surround speaker, the KS-7502-THX uses highly respected certification, patented technology and premium materials to deliver compelling audio experiences that are second to none. In fact, most in-ceiling surrounds can’t “fool” listeners into believing the sound is coming from all around them, rather than from above. But that’s not a problem for the KS-7502-THX, as it offers a smooth, seamless broad distribution of sound.

The KS-7502-THX employs dual 5.25-inch Cerametallic woofers that operate in an enclosed tuned-port chamber. These exclusive woofer cones offer superb damping characteristics that will not flex or resonate at frequencies within the drivers’ operating ranges, resulting in consistent bass response regardless of the installation or ceiling air space.

Dual 1-inch titanium horn-loaded tweeters lie in a patented vertically stacked Wide Dispersion Surround Technology array, producing enveloping surround performances and precise localization of individual effects.

Adding to its first-class sound, the KS-7502-THX also has a premium look and feel with its grille off, featuring a deluxe MDF baffle with aluminum fascia. But when covered, the speaker’s paintable grille allows it to blend in perfectly with any home décor. All-new sure-grip mounting dogs offer even pressure against drywall for long-term installation reliability.

Furthermore, the KS-7502-THX comes with a lot of options. It is timbre matched to all of our THX Ultra2-certified products, so you can mix and match for the discreet stereo or home theater system that’s just right for you.

KS-7800-THX

Developed to bring a whole new dimension of reality to home theater, the Klipsch KS-7800-THX offers the ultimate surround sound performance in a flush-mount design.

Because of its THX® Ultra2 certification, the KS-7800-THX works well with movie presentations playing up to reference levels in rooms of 3,000 cubic feet or larger.

The KS-7800-THX is also capable of delivering the same high-output, low distortion signature sound as its traditional enclosure counterpart, the KS-525-THX. It employs an 8-inch aluminum woofer and a patented horn array, consisting of two vertically-stacked Tractrix Horn-loaded tweeters.

In order to create enveloping sound fields and precise localization of individual effects, this speaker also utilizes Klipsch's Wide Dispersion Surround Technology™. Also referred to as WDST, this no-compromise approach gives the KS-7800-THX much more placement flexibility than conventional designs.

Featuring an integrated back box enclosure, the KS-7800-THX's response is both predictable and repeatable. Because this enclosure fits easily within the loudspeaker's footprint, the KS-7800-THX can be installed into new or existing construction.

Combine this dynamic loudspeaker with Klipsch's KL-7800-THX LCR speaker, KW-120-THX subwoofer and KA-1000-THX subwoofer amplifier to create a variety of THX Ultra2 in-wall system configurations. The KS-7800-THX can also be mixed and matched with the Klipsch THX Ultra2 traditional box products.

KS-525-THX

As part of the THX® Ultra2 family, the KS-525-THX surround loudspeaker with Klipsch Wide Dispersion Surround Technology™ (WDST) brings a new dimension of reality to home theater by using the same high-performance technology as the Klipsch professional cinema systems.

The KS-525-THX produces a smooth, seamless, broad distribution of sound by employing a pair of 5.25-inch Cerametallic™ woofers and dual 5-inch square Tractrix® Horn tweeters in a Wide Dispersion Surround Technology array. WDST is the industry's no-compromise approach to surround speaker design because it offers both rich, immersion surround sound and precise localization of individual effects from a speaker that has much more placement flexibility than conventional designs.

This surround's sealed enclosure has the dado and rabbet construction used in Klipsch professional speakers, ensuring cabinet integrity in suspended applications. The Omni-Mount suspension points facilitate wall or ceiling mounting using standard hardware.

Available in a custom Galaxy black finish with an aluminum fascia, the KS-525-THX also utilizes top-of-the-line internal wiring to help listeners experience the true impact and exhilaration of surround sound.
