RC-62

As the leading supplier to the cinema industry, Klipsch understands that a movie falls apart if every whisper of dialogue is not heard. With its superior technology and elegant design, the Reference Series RC-62 center channel delivers all of the detail, subtleties and dynamics required for the ultimate home theater experience.

Exclusive Tractrix® Horns have always been the key component of this critically acclaimed series. In the RC-62, this technology has been refined to include improved throat geometry for a more genuine, lifelike sound. Behind the horn lies a 1-inch titanium tweeter with a large ceramic motor structure to provide a unique combination of precision, clarity and effortless power.

The RC-62 employs dual 6.5-inch woofers for a solid bass foundation. These Cerametallic™ woofers with inverted copper dust caps exhibit a very high stiffness-to-mass ratio and superb damping characteristics.

Klipsch Tapered Array™ technology operates both woofers at the lowest frequencies - maintaining the high output capability necessary for good center channel performance - but only one operates all the way through the midrange to where the tweeter takes over. This eliminates acoustic interference between the woofer outputs, a flaw in conventional speaker designs that can severely impair sound quality at the sides of the listening area.

The RC-62's rigid cabinet offers improved internal cross-bracing to minimize panel vibrations that can color sound. Twin front-firing ports eliminate turbulence noise, while increased baffle ribbing around the horn mouth dramatically improves acoustics across the sonic range. For signal purity and perfect driver integration, the crossover on the RC-62 features the finest components and Klipsch custom internal wiring.

Available in a black woodgrain vinyl finish, the fully video-shielded RC-62 comes with a low-diffraction, magnetically attached grille to further accentuate the elegance of this speaker.

Quintet™ SL

Building on the popularity of our Quintet™ Satellite Microsystem, the sleek and slender Quintet™ SL home theater bundle is designed to complement all flat-panel displays. Kiss lackluster performance goodbye because with this setup you’ll be swept away by the sheer power, detail, and emotion of every film, music, or video game soundtrack.

Comprised of three LCR (left, center, right) speakers and two satellites for surrounds, the Quintet™ SL incorporates over 60 years of class-leading research and development experience. In fact, it utilizes the same cutting-edge technology as our professional cinema products, which are chosen by leading cinema operators around the world.

Each magnetically shielded LCR speaker employs dual 3.5-inch high-output woofers and a 0.75-inch aluminum dome tweeter mated to an exclusive Tractrix® horn, a design that delivers genuine lifelike sound as well as produces more output using less energy. Each also offers easy keyhole wall mounting and includes a pedestal foot for free-standing use as a left/right main speaker or center channel.

The two surround satellites are the same speakers featured in the Quintet™ Microsystem. Each utilizes a 3.5-inch long-throw woofer for remarkable detail and clarity and a 0.75-inch aluminum dome tweeter coupled to a MicroTractrix™ Horn for precise high frequencies. Additionally, these magnetically shielded satellites feature a swiveling pedestal foot for convenient wall mounting or bookshelf placement.

In order to create the low-frequency power you can hear and feel, we recommend pairing the Quintet™ SL up with our Sub-12 subwoofer (sold separately). The Sub-12 reaches deeper and hits harder thanks to a 12-inch, down-firing driver coupled to a highly efficient BASH amplifier.

In addition to using premium components throughout, the Quintet™ SL has a modern, refined industrial design. While the LCRs and satellites feature a dark gray finish with medium gray accents, the Sub-12 is available in a black ash vinyl finish with titanium accents.

The Klipsch Synergy Series delivers high-performance quality at the lowest possible price. The SC.5 center channel backs this philosophy by revealing the detail and dynamics necessary for a gripping home theater sound experience.

The SC.5 uses a 1-inch magnetically shielded polymer dome compression driver coupled to a 4-inch square Tractrix® Horn for the high frequencies and two 4-inch graphite-injected woofers for the lows. This winning combination delivers high output with low distortion, broad dynamics, controlled coverage and flat frequency response. Other class-leading design features, such as high-definition crossover networks and internally braced enclosures help ensure peak performance from every SC.5, while the unique venting system of its cast-polymer woofer frame cools the voice coil to enhance reliability.

The SC.5's multi-angle enclosure facilitates placement either above or below a television screen. This center channel also features a "floating," or suspended grille design, which minimizes image impairing sonic reflections and complements the jet ash vinyl veneer finish.

This sonically and aesthetically appealing center channel delivers the lifelike dialogue needed to turn ordinary living rooms into theater spaces.

RC-10

Part of the new Reference 10 family, the RC-10 center channel adds a new value point to Klipsch's best-selling Reference Series line by offering the same advanced technology and world-class materials as the Reference III center channels but from a smaller enclosure and at a lower price point.

The RC-10 employs dual 4-inch woofers and a 1-inch titanium-dome compression driver loaded with a 4-inch square Tractrix® Horn for maximum clarity and efficiency.

This center channel also utilizes Klipsch's Tapered-Array™ Technology, a 2.5-way design that minimizes the acoustical interference between drivers that plagues most horizontal center-channel speakers. This technology allows both woofers to create intense bass, while only one works with the tweeter to produce the midrange. The result is a smooth, clear sound not just directly in front of the speaker, but off to the sides as well, where conventional center speakers often exaggerate or mask sounds.

The woofers on the RC-10 still feature Klipsch's distinctive, copper-colored Cerametallic™ material. Made with an anodized aluminum, these cones are strong and dent resistant. The anodizing process converts their inner and outer surfaces to ceramic. The outcome is a rigid cone with superb damping characteristics that will not flex or resonate at frequencies within the woofer's operating range.

As in all Reference Series speakers, the RC-10 crossover network is constructed using extremely high-quality components including top-of-the-line internal wiring, polyester film-type capacitors and an air-core inductor to ensure signal purity and proper driver integration.

Available in a black vinyl finish, the RC-10 features a low-diffraction sculpted baffle and a magnetically attached grille for an elegant fit and finish.

Because the design requirements of a center channel are quite challenging, it is difficult to make a modestly sized, horizontally oriented loudspeaker that performs exceptionally. Despite its compact enclosure, the RC-10 easily carries on the Reference Series' high-performance legacy

Because the center channel speaker reproduces more than 60 percent of a movie soundtrack, Klipsch spared no expense when developing the Reference Series RC-52. With its ideal combination of technology, performance and design, this speaker delivers a seamless, engaging soundstage that puts listeners inside the action.

Exclusive Tractrix® Horns have always been the key component of this critically acclaimed series. In the RC-52, this technology has been refined to include improved throat geometry for a more genuine, lifelike sound. Behind the horn lies a 1-inch titanium tweeter with a powerful neodymium magnet motor structure to provide a unique combination of precision, clarity and effortless dynamics.

RVX-42

Despite its slim appearance, the RVX-42 delivers an adrenaline rush of sound that's set to stun. In fact, it received a 2004 Distributed Audio Award from Electronic House Expo for being the best on-wall speaker for less than $1,000 per pair.

With similar flatness and styling to popular plasma and LCD televisions, the Klipsch Reference Series RVX-42 is a high-performance audio solution that complements this growing consumer electronics segment.

This on-wall model has a single-piece aluminum extrusion enclosure. It employs dual 4-inch Cerametallic™ woofers and uses a 1-inch titanium-dome compression driver mated to a round Tractrix® Horn for maximum clarity and efficiency.

The RVX-42 goes well with 42-inch or larger plasma and LCD screens. It also features keyhole mounts (sized for a single-gang electrical box), two 3/8"-16 threaded inserts for optional wall mounts and a pedestal base. There are two insert locations on the RVX-42 where the pedestal can be positioned - one in the center and one on the bottom so the loudspeaker can either serve as a center channel or bookshelf. Another key feature is a bass compensation switch for the best possible sonic performance either on-wall or off-wall.

Available in the same black or silver finish as the Klipsch Reference Satellites, the RVX-42, which is packaged and sold individually, can be combined with these compact speakers to create complete systems. For example, you can create a 5.1-channel surround sound system using three RVX-42s (two main channels and one center channel), a pair of Reference Satellite RSX-4s for surrounds and a Reference Series RW-10 subwoofer.

RC-7

The RC-7 utilizes a combination of professional grade materials and advanced horn technology for a smooth response and consistent coverage pattern. The new Reference Series 1.75" titanium dome compression driver is coupled to an 8" square Tractrix® Horn and powered by an unusually large, video-shielded 22oz. magnet. This combination offers the speed and accuracy needed to deliver clear, accurate, non-fatiguing high and upper midrange frequencies at any volume level. This design approach is so efficient that it virtually eliminates the most common cause of driver failure — excessive energy.

The two 8" Cerametallic™ woofer cones are lighter, stronger and better damped than commonly used cone materials. Cerametallic™ is a specially treated aluminum that has been anodized, or electro-chemically transformed into ceramic on both outer surfaces. Similar to the motor of the large compression driver, powerful, video-shielded 28oz. magnets drive these woofers, allowing for precise signal tracking without blurring the sound. Aesthetically, the unmistakable copper color of our Cerametallic™ cones gives the RC-7 its distinctive Klipsch Reference look.

The RC-7's cast-polymer woofer frames, which have high impact tolerance to stabilize the woofer motors and guarantee their critical alignment, are designed to be stronger and more functional than typical driver "baskets", and actually contribute to the overall enhanced performance. These non-magnetic woofer baskets eliminate any loss of magnetic energy needed for output and dynamic headroom. And the unique venting system cools the motor and voice coil to enhance reliability.

The RC-7 center channel features Klipsch's version of 2.5-way crossover technology, called tapered-array. With tapered-array, the two Cerametallic™ woofers work together to deliver high impact bass with one driver transitioning out at the mid-range frequencies. This provides more consistent coverage across the listening field, less tonal error and improved dialogue intelligibility.

RCX-4

Listeners are encouraged to brace themselves for a dynamic sound experience because the RCX-4 delivers everything from the faintest whisper to the loudest roar with complete clarity.

To meet the demand for speakers that fit almost anywhere and still deliver excellent sound, Klipsch has developed a new compact center channel for its legendary Reference Series line. The RCX-4 enters the lifestyle category by combining performance, style and functional versatility for users who want dynamic sound but in a small, unobtrusive package.

This horizontal-oriented center channel can handle multiple installation applications without trading off sound for style and convenience. Its high-performance sound nicely enhances stereo or home theater applications, allowing consumers to create captivating audio experiences.

The RCX-4 delivers incredibly dynamic and accurate performances by utilizing a 1-inch titanium-dome compression driver coupled to Klipsch's new round MicroTractrix™ Horn. This magnetically shielded speaker also employs a pair of 4-inch woofers that flank the MicroTractrix® horn.

The woofer is a long-throw unit powered by a unique neodymium motor structure. The Cerametallic™ cones are lightweight with excellent rigidity, which dramatically reduce any resonance. As a result, the RCX-4 is capable of robust bass extending low enough for comfortable operation with today's built-in A/V preamp/processor and receiver crossovers.

As with all new Reference Series models, the RCX-4 uses high-quality network components and top-of-the-line internal wiring for proper driver blending with minimal degradation of the incoming signals. These premium features ensure nothing but outstanding performances.

The RCX-4 sports a modern look that comes in a black or silver finish. The center channel's integrated pedestal stand with ball joint allow it to be adjusted in almost any direction by simply using the provided allen wrench. Keyholes are provided on the underside of the stand base for no-hassle wall mounting. The magnetic grille easily snaps into place over its cast-aluminum front baffle, while sturdy five-way binding posts ensure secure connection to any type of cable.

This center channel comes individually packaged for mix-and-match simplicity or as part of the Klipsch Cinema 8 and 10 home theater packages.

RCX-3

As one of the newest members of the Reference Satellite family, the RCX-3 is the smallest and most affordable center channel in the line. As with all Reference Satellite products, this compact loudspeaker was designed to fit almost anywhere, in any type of system, in any type of environment.

Available in a black or white finish, the RCX-3 is a two-way magnetically shielded speaker that employs a 3.5-inch aluminum woofer and 0.75-inch titanium-dome compression driver coupled to an exclusive round MicroTractrix™ Horn for maximum clarity and efficiency. This speaker also features high-quality network components and premium internal wiring.

The woofer is a long-throw unit driven by a powerful magnetic motor structure. The Cerametallic™ cone is lightweight with excellent rigidity, which dramatically reduces any resonance. As a result, the RCX-3 is capable of robust bass extending low enough for comfortable operation with today's built-in A/V preamp/processor and receiver crossovers.

The RCX-3 has an integrated pedestal stand with a ball joint that allows it to be adjusted in almost any direction by using the provided allen wrench. A keyhole is featured on the underside of the stand base for no-hassle wall mounting. The speaker grille magnetically snaps into place over the front baffle, while a sturdy five-way binding post ensures connection to any type of cable.

The RCX-3 is sold in a single box that includes four RSX-3s and one RCX-3. This speaker is also available in a complete home theater package called the Cinema 6. This package includes four RSX-3s, one RCX-3 and a Reference Series RPW-10 subwoofer.

RC-64

Hope your movie dialogue is good because with the flagship Reference Series RC-64 center channel you're going to hear every word of it. Designed to be one of the most unique and powerful center channels on the market, this amazing speaker is certainly a force to be reckoned with.

Exclusive Tractrix® Horns have always been the key component of this critically acclaimed series. In the RC-64, this technology has been refined to include improved throat geometry for a more genuine, lifelike sound. Behind the horn lies a professional-grade 1.25-inch titanium diaphragm compression driver to provide a unique combination of precision, clarity and effortless power.

The RC-64 employs four 6.5-inch high-output woofers for a solid bass foundation. These Cerametallic™ woofers with inverted copper dust caps exhibit a very high stiffness-to-mass ratio and superb damping characteristics.

Klipsch Tapered Array™ technology operates all of the woofers at the lowest frequencies - maintaining the high output capability necessary for good center channel performance - but only two operate all the way through the midrange to where the tweeter takes over. This eliminates acoustic interference between the woofer outputs, a flaw in conventional speaker designs that can severely impair sound quality at the sides of the listening area.

The RC-64's sealed cabinet offers improved internal cross-bracing to minimize panel vibrations that can color sound. Increased baffle ribbing around the horn mouth dramatically improves acoustics across the sonic range. For signal purity and perfect driver integration, the crossover on the RC-64 features the finest components and Klipsch custom internal wiring. Bi-wire inputs with premium binding posts ensure superior connectivity.

Available in either a cherry or black real wood veneer finish, the fully video-shielded RC-64 comes with a knife-edge back and low-diffraction, magnetically attached grille to further accentuate the elegance of this speaker.
