Klipsch R6m headphones have replaced the S4A. Check them out here: klipsch.com/R6m.
Engineered for Android™ smartphones, the S4A headphones let you experience the arena anywhere. Backed by six decades of audio excellence, the S4A headphones let you control both your playlist and your phone calls with a single-button remote + mic and powerful customization via the Klipsch Control app for Android.
And with the headphones’ patented oval tips, you can enjoy your favorite artists in incredible comfort.
S4A (II) for Android
*In order to enable functionality of your S4A headset, you must download the free Klipsch App. Compatible with devices running Android 2.2 or later.
Boasting the exact look and feel of the S4, this for-Android headphone features patented oval ear tips that ensure hours of comfortable, long-term wear. Unlike circular-shaped ear tips that put stress on the pressure points inside the ear, Klipsch’s patented oval ear tips naturally fit the contours of your ear canals, providing comfortable long-term wear.
These ear tips also offer superior noise isolation (or passive noise-cancellation), blocking out almost all ambient noise and providing excellent bass.
Equipped with a dual magnet 8.5mm driver, the S4A covers a wide frequency range, while delivering dynamic detail for the most strikingly realistic sound reproductions of beloved music libraries.
The S4A requires download of the free Klipsch Control app for full functionality. Once installed, the headphone instantly becomes a fully functioning headset. With its single-button remote, users are able to play, pause and skip music tracks, answer and end incoming calls, and voice search. Each of these button functions can be customized with the Klipsch Control app. By simply assigning the one-, two- or three-click functionalities of the remote to the different call and music controls, you are granted a customized listening experience each time you plug in.
Volume Control (Android 4.0.3 or later - all phones)
The volume control function in the Klipsch Control app is overridden by the system command to launch voice search.
Motorola Droid Razr (running Android 4.0 or later)
When running Android 4.0 or later MotoBlur conflicts with Klipsch Control, preventing the device from properly receiving button commands. Klipsch Control continues to work properly on the Droid Razr with Android 2.3.6 and on other devices running Android 4.0.
Samsung Galaxy S II, Samsung Captivate
Due to software conflicts, the Klipsch Control app is not fully compatible, specifically, the Klipsch S4A™ headset only supports voice control, call “Answer” and “End” functionality. Klipsch continues to work on an update to allow full functionality on these devices.
