Tennessee Woman Wins Home Theater and Klipsch Ultimate Sound Experience™ Sweepstakes

Lucky Winner Scores Extraordinary Klipsch Home Theater System Worth Over $20,000

INDIANAPOLIS (April 22, 2005) - With the luck of the draw, Cathy Brown of Talbott, Tenn. won the Home Theater magazine and Klipsch Ultimate Sound Experience Sweepstakes. Selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received, she is now the proud owner of a $20,000+ Klipsch THX® Ultra2 home theater system in a 7.1 configuration complete with high-end Aragon electronics.

Brown, who was researching home theater systems on klipsch.com, came across the sweepstakes announcement and entered on a whim. "At the time, I really didn't know what I was entering to win," she said. "I never dreamed of winning anything this big, but when I was notified that I won, I was absolutely shocked."

According to Brown, she and her husband Mark are both honored and delighted to own this incredible system. "Even though this is our first Klipsch system, we were fully aware that Klipsch builds the 'Cadillac' of speakers," she said. "We learned about Klipsch's top-of-the-line products through friends and now they are very, very jealous."

"I was tickled when I learned Cathy won. I didn't even know she entered the contest," said Mark Brown. "I have known about the Klipsch name and reputation for a long time. To me, when I hear the name Klipsch, it's like when someone's talking about cars and they say Lexus or Mercedes. You just know that the name means extraordinary quality and solid performance."

A leading supplier of high-performance professional cinema speakers, Klipsch designed its THX Ultra2 system to bring big movie theater sound to the comforts of home. Since its introduction to the A/V specialty retail channel in March 2004, the Klipsch THX Ultra2 has gained a lot of recognition by winning numerous awards and receiving several outstanding reviews.

The sweepstakes, which ran from October 1 through December 31, 2004, was open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the district of Columbia who were 18 years of age or older. No purchase was necessary and the contest was publicized in the December issue Home Theater magazine and on both hometheatermag.com and klipsch.com web sites.
