Stars of Sundance Film Festival to Receive Klipsch Speakers at Celebrity Gifting House Benefiting St. Jude Children's Hospital

INDIANAPOLIS (January 21, 2005) - This year at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, directors, writers, producers, actors and industry leaders will receive high-performance Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 2.0 speaker systems as part of the 2005 Sundance Celebrity Gifting House Benefiting St. Jude Children's Hospital. The ten-day festival presenting more than 200 independent films starts January 20.

The new ProMedia Ultra 2.0 personal audio system delivers detailed, dynamic sound reproduction from the simplicity of a two-speaker setup. Klipsch engineers created the Ultra 2.0 for people who desire superior, full-range performance but do not want to give up the space or run the wire required for a subwoofer.

"Filmmakers spend months at a time living out of hotels or on-set trailers and the environments are unpredictable," said Judy Klipsch, vice chairman of Klipsch Audio Technologies. "Our ProMedia Ultra 2.0 speakers are easy-to-set-up, easy-to-use, and turn any close quarters space into a high-performance entertainment experience. We are so pleased to be introducing the Sundance attendees to the unique Klipsch sound and to help St. Jude Children's Hospital fulfill its mission."

Klipsch created the ProMedia Ultra 2.0 to fill a gap in the market for a straightforward system with a focus on high-performance sound that is more powerful than anything in its price range. The ProMedia Ultra 2.0 easily connects to Apple iPods and other MP3 players, laptop and desktop computers, and portable audio/video devices such as televisions, CD and DVD players.

Conveniently located one minute from Main Street in Park City, Utah, the celebrity gifting house will be the place for celebrities, filmmakers and trendsetters to visit and receive products, get spa treatments or just hang out and listen to music provided by celebrity DJ Pesce on a quiet street overlooking the historic Old Town district of Park City. A portion of the profits from this event will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
