Klipsch Hires Western Regional Sales Manager Chris Lentz
INDIANAPOLIS (July 27, 2005) - Klipsch Audio Technologies, a leading global manufacturer of premium audio products, announced that Chris Lentz has joined the company as Western regional sales manager for the company's specialty retail and residential contracting division. He is responsible for providing strategic territory supervision, which includes penetrating new markets, account development and management, product forecasting, program distribution and attaining sales quota for the Western region of the United States.
With over 10 years of documented success in the consumer electronics industry, Lentz worked at Yamaha Electronics Corporation in Buena Park, Calif. as Western regional sales manager, Terk Technologies in Commack, N.Y. as Western regional sales manager and Bose Corporation in Framingham, Mass. where he held a variety of key management positions before joining Klipsch.
In addition to his extensive work experience, Lentz has participated in several professional development courses to bring a new level of proficiency to his skills, including Acclivus base and major account planning strategies, effective supervision, advanced business writing, better communication through effective listening, targeted strategic interviewing, total quality management, negotiating to win and building performance management systems.
Lentz grew up in San Jose, Calif. and graduated from San Jose State University in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in advertising and a minor in international business. He now lives in Oceanside, Calif. with his wife Janice.
