Paul W Klipsch

Klipsch Music Festival and Charity Event

In 1946, Paul W. Klipsch founded Klipsch on a deep-rooted love of music. PWK's ultimate goal was to reproduce the excitement of a live orchestra performance in his living room. His dream became a reality with the legendary Klipschorn, a speaker that's stayed in production for over 60 years–yeah, it's that good.

Everything Klipsch does today reflects Paul's no-compromise spirit and a commitment to delivering the world's most powerful, detailed and emotional sound reproduction.

As a way to honor our founder, fans and the lifelike sound our speakers recreate, we're hosting this special all-ages concert on June 12, with performances by various country, rock, jazz, and blues musicians. While the concert is free, donations for local charities are much appreciated.

Summer Pilgrimage

We're hosting the Klipsch Music Festival in conjunction with our annual summer pilgrimage, an event that started in 2001 at the request of loyal Klipsch online forum fans.

The 2010 pilgrimage weekend will take place June 11–13 in Hope, Arkansas—where the Klipsch legacy began in 1946. If you would like to attend, you must join our forum and RSVP there as tour space is limited.

bandIf the past is any indication, this year's celebration of everything Klipsch will bring a significant number of people from around the country to the company's manufacturing facility. Pilgrimage guests are typically members of the klipsch.com online forum community, currently made up of over 41,000 registered users. Join today!

"Much like the Grateful Dead generated a tightly knit community of 'Deadheads' through its concert experiences, we've inspired our own set of dedicated cult-status followers by way of our on-line forum," said Amy Unger, klipsch.com forum moderator. "For many of these forum members, visiting Klipsch is like visiting the 'promised land'."

The Agenda
Pilgrims will take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Klipsch manufacturing facility where we build and/or assemble our Heritage Series, THX Ultra2custom home theater products, professional cinema systems, select Reference Series models and the flagship Palladium P-39F floorstander.

Fans will also interact with staff and participate in new product listening sessions, where they are encouraged to provide feedback to engineering staff.
