Klipsch Announces Incredible Install Photo Contest Winners
Over the past couple of months, we reached out to our dealer network in search of the most beautiful, unique or outrageous installations featuring premium Klipsch speakers. We received several great entries, but only three were named winners in our Incredible Install Photo Contest.
Talk of the Town, from Allendale, New Jersey, received top honors for their Classic Home Theater, which is the centerpiece of their main showroom. It's an area where the store’s clientele can experience the best in audio, video, seating, custom millwork and cabinetry.
The Classic Home Theater employs three KL-650-THX LCR speakers, four KS-525-THX surround speakers, two KW-120-THX subwoofers and two KA-1000-THX subwoofer amplifiers.
When developing the sound system, Talk of the Town needed it to excel as one of three separate solutions in the show room—and our speakers helped make it happen. The dispersion pattern of our products provided the best placement flexibility, while maintaining superb audio reproduction.
According to Talk of the Town’s Greg Bastug, our THX system provides an unsurpassed feeling of envelopment. It’s able to achieve sonic consistency, from front to rear, through excellent timbre matching.
But what also made this install unique was matching the Klipsch enclosures with a custom-built proscenium, cabinets and false columns to create a completely invisible yet visceral experience, on budget and on time. The installation took approximately two months to complete.
But it’s obvious all of their hard work paid off because Talk of the Town placed first in our contest, winning a $2,500 American Express Gift Card and 10 pairs of Image S2 headphones.
Triphase Technologies, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, scored second place, receiving a $1,000 American Express Gift Card and 10 pairs of Image S2 headphones, for a home installation that gives their client a comfortable theater area for watching movies and entertaining guests. View install.
And last but not least, Lifestyle Consulting, based in Granger, Indiana, came in third place, receiving a $500 American Express Gift Card and 10 pairs of Image S2 headphones, for a new home construction theater room. View install.
