Klipsch RB-81

Klipsch RB-81 Reviewer Milan Rupic who writes for Audiofil, a Croatian-based web site, is a big fan of our RB-81 bookshelf speaker, giving it a five-star rating.

Below is Milan's conclusion in English.

One thing that is very apparent when listening to the RB-81 is its efficiency. Well, of course, it has a sensitivity of 97dB. This means that these speakers are, without a doubt, capable of working with small amps. Listening through more powerful amplifiers, the sound is completely effortless and you have the feeling that the speakers are producing extra power by themselves. This is an effect that is impossible to achieve with a classic loudspeaker topology. Due to this, the music—with all of its vitality— effortlessly moves from the softest to the loudest parts of a piece, producing the great sense of a seamless crossover point. The drive and beat of these loudspeakers are way out of the competition's reach and have much more to offer than more expensive designs. Massive accords were reproduced with an aliveness that was wide, uncompressed and free of cabinet coloration.
