How To Use

How to Achieve Maximum Comfort, Fit and Bass

Our headphones provide the absolute best in sound, comfort and fit. Guaranteed. However, there's a catch. Before you can enjoy your music the way we intended, you must take the proper steps to ensure you have the perfect fit and the right seal.

Find Your Perfect Fit

When it comes to our Custom headphones, it is difficult to achieve the perfect fit right out of the box. It will take some time finding the right ear tip size and tweaking the exterior flex wires. But once you've got your customized fit, you'll discover these headphones are awesome. While our IMAGE headphones do not feature the flexible ear wires, it is still important to take the time to find the right ear tip size.

How do I know which ear tip size is right for me?

We recommend trying on various sizes. The tip that offers the most comfort and the best ear seal is the right one for you. You may even find that using a different size tip in each ear is the best option. Out of the box, our earphones are fitted with medium-sized, single-flange gels as we've discovered that almost 60 percent of users prefer this size. But every ear is different so that's why we've given you four other sizes to choose from.

How do I get Custom's flexible ear wires to mold precisely around my ears?

The flexible ear wires come pre-formed to fit most ears. However, to get a true custom feel, you will need to tweak the bend. Start by gently forming it to the back of your ear. You may need to adjust the angle of the earbud (portion with Klipsch logo) in your ear to help achieve a good seal or eliminate pressure points. Plan on spending up to five minutes checking the ear tip fit and wire adjustment. In many instances, you will need to bend the wire so that the nozzle is pointing forward and upward.

Improved Bass Performance

If you're not completely blown away by our headphones, something is definitely wrong. You probably don't have a good seal, meaning either you have the wrong ear tip size or they are not positioned properly.

How do I know if I have a good seal?

When no music is playing, your voice should sound louder and ambient noise should sound quieter, very similar to wearing a pair of ear plugs. Creating a tighter seal is simple. Insert the ear gel into the ear canal and then gently pull it back. This adjustment eliminates virtually all external noise so you can play your music at a lower volume, for a longer period of time, without experiencing ear fatigue.
