The Klipsch Experience

Live Nation Partnership

“For us, as well as Live Nation, it is and will always be all about the music. Concerts attract individuals who share a passion that is very similar to Klipsch and the brand’s message,” said Paul Jacobs, CEO of Klipsch Group, Inc. “Our brand began with Paul W. Klipsch creating sound solutions that simulate the live-concert experience. This sponsorship gives us the opportunity to go back to our roots and honor a legacy that we continue to build on into the future."

"Klipsch understands the power of music and works day in and day out to compliment the experience with premium sound solutions,” said Maureen Ford, Venue Network President at Live Nation. “The brand ethos makes this sponsorship alliance a great fit, enabling them to reach, engage and connect with live music fans and their customers at our venues.”

The leading global speaker manufacturer proudly announced in October 2011 that the venue formerly known as Verizon Wireless Music Center is now the Klipsch Music Center. Klipsch Music Center, a 24,000 capacity amphitheater, is nestled on 228 acres of land in Noblesville, located outside of Indianapolis in Hamilton County. For over 20 years, the venue has hosted a wide variety of leading popular artists ranging from Frank Sinatra to Coldplay to Metallica to the recent appearance of Elton John and countless others since it opened in 1989. The venue has consistently ranked in the top-five for amphitheaters worldwide due to its picturesque outdoor setting and reputation for consistently providing the best in live entertainment.

The event included video appearances from acclaimed musicians Kyle Cook of Matchbox Twenty and drummer Kenny Aronoff, both avid Klipsch fans.

In addition to the Klipsch Music Center, Klipsch sponsored venues include:

Irving Plaza Powered by Klipsch, New York, NY
Gramercy Theatre, New York, NY
Klipsch Ampitheater at Bayfront Park, Miami, FL
The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater, Miami Beach, FL

Klipsch is sponsoring the Music Gear Expo at South by Southwest in March, 2012. Now in its third year, the event shows off the latest in music equipment, including guitars, keyboards, amps, and more. For more information visit the SXSW website.

Much like the Grateful Dead generated a tightly-knit community of “Deadheads” through its concert experiences, the Klipsch speaker company has inspired its own set of dedicated cult-status followers, including musicians from many different genres.

The common theme of their admiration comes from an appreciation of the "live music experience," or listening to music as if the artist were performing in your living room. Musical clarity, wide-dynamics, and complete immersion lend themselves to an experience only found with Klipsch.

Since 2001, Klipsch has honored its passionate fans by hosting an annual summer Pilgrimage. The event that allows them to meet fellow forum members, tour the company’s facility, listen and comment on product demonstrations, and perhaps win high-performance audio products.

“These online ambassadors, many of which have earned ‘industry expert’ reputations, are essentially trusted ‘human yellow pages’ for us,” said Mike Klipsch, vice president of Klipsch. “It’s because we understand their value and appreciate their devotion that we host our annual Pilgrimage.”
