Senior Software Architect

Klipsch Group, Inc., headquarted in Indianapolis IN, is seeking a Senior Software Architect to facilitate the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of its current and emerging global business systems. This role requires the candidate to work with the business to design / re-design, develop and implement requested changes to the existing ERP and other related business system(s), as well as technical involvement in the design, development and implementation of future systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop changes to enterprise systems based on user requirements. Implement workflows, build/support interfaces and integrations, assist with data conversions.
• Implement best practice processes and procedures in support of system design and re-design, development, and implementation.
• Create formal change management policies and procedures.
• Establish formal technical / system documentation standards and conventions.
• Audit for compliance to established development standards and protocols.
• Mentor / develop technical staff.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in business / finance or information systems / computer science, or related experience and 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with emphasis on systems design and re-design. Strong knowledge and programming experience using object technologies, relational databases, and SQL, including stored procedures. Experience in real-time and batch processing environments, as-well-as application performance tuning and monitoring. Must have strong knowledge in system interfaces, integration and conversion. Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
